I couldn’t stay quiet about this…

Dubai pet parents,

These are unsettling times. Whilst our government and military continue to keep us safe, I understand why some may feel the urge to get away.

But please do whatever you need to do in order to keep your pets with you, or safely with someone you trust.

I’m not here to debate whether you should leave them at all, I have my own feelings about that but the priority here is the safety of pets. Groups have already been set up here to help take care of pets who need to be looked after - message me if you need help connecting with the right people.

In this situation, as with rehoming cases, there is little use in wasting time chastising people for their decisions. What does help is collective action in the best interest of the animals who need it.
