I am extremely excited and blessed to announce my commitment to Texas A&M University–Texarkana to continue my academic and athletic career and compete in the Lone Star Conference!

First and foremost, I want to thank God for blessing me with this opportunity. I am incredibly grateful for my family and everyone who has supported me throughout this journey.

A special thank you to my coaches at 6-4-3, Danny Pralgo, Jake Pralgo, and Kyle D’Amour, as well as my coaches at Roswell, Matt McCarthy and Aiden Kowalski. Thank you for believing in me, pushing me every day, and helping me become the best athlete and person I can be.

I’m excited for this next chapter and everything that God has in store for me. I can’t wait to get to work!

Ben Sutter, son of Hall of Famer Bruce Sutter, shares a story about how his dad approached hitters differently based on who he was facing.

Bruce’s best pitch was his splitter.

But Ryne Sandberg was a low-ball hitter — exactly where Bruce wanted to throw his best pitch.

The result?

Sandberg hit .400 with 4 HRs in 22 PA against him.

On the other hand, Dave Kingman was someone Bruce had a much easier time getting out — hitting just .188 with 4 Ks in 16 PA.

The lesson?

Knowing a hitter’s weakness matters.

But knowing when to trust your own strengths matters just as much.
