Yesterday we started off with a bit of a queue - it was such a promising start + based off of the first market there which was packed + busy all day long we had really high hopes!

It turned out to be a super, quiet day after that and so we really want to thank the stallholders for keeping the vibes high + the mood positive 💕

A lot goes on behind the scenes into marketing + advertising and this was no different. As a stallholder myself who attends so many different markets, I totally understand how disappointing it can be.

For us at Ashgrove, this was our first! So let’s focus on the positives of the day:

• Met some cool locals ✅
• Learned a bit about some of the resellers business models ✅
• Ate some delicious chicken pad Thai from Nui ✅
• Saw some swaps taking place of stock between stallholders ✅
• Got me a cute new, vintage lace bodysuit ✅
• Met the cutest doggos ever ✅
• Had one of my favourite Iced Matchas ✅

A big thanks to our awesome stallholders and shoutout to @brewsandbites.nz and Nui from Bangkok Thai Kitchen in Katikati for keeping us all caffeinated and well-fed.

Couldn’t be any happier on how this came up.. I originally got this off @gearsandpairs awhile back and after some VLR to remover the rest of the old logos it was sent to @efn_australia for them to do their magic. After some research and messaging a few players from that tournament we got some clear pictures of the sponsors logos to replicate for the new logos!

Junktion & Celestial Corner present the Underground Sunday markets happening in St Kevin’s Arcade!

The market will take place on Sunday December 3rd between 11am - 4pm. We have over 20+ stall holders ranging from second-hand clothing, vintage goods, jewellery, tattoo flash by @suedesake , art and so much more!

The market will be held upstairs in the entrance of St. Kevin’s Arcade and inside/outside of the @underground_nz! Uncle @hyan4010 will be on the decks down in Underground playing tunes and selling clothes.

Lindon will be on the BBQ cooking up a storm and serving up some of his finest seafood to all.

We look forward to seeing you all there for a good day out!

My first market

Just wanted to make a post thanking everyone who helped make this possible. It was a great and fun experience.

Every one that was at the market alongside me @heatseeker_nz @thevintageconsortium @robs_vintage @doublerainbowthrifters and @gearsandpairs who was there in sprit and gave me heaps of advice going in. @nates_rates_vintage who got us all together and did most of the mahi on the setup. Lastly to my lovely partner who came with me and helped me set up the stall and sort everything else.

I also want to thank everyone that came through and had a look and bought some gear off me and to all of my followers who also helped make this possible as y'all are the reason why I'm here and doing this.
