We are very happy to announce that Everything You’re About To Hear Is True Vol 2 is now finished and into production with a release date of Friday 16th October. This volume has taken us a little longer to finish than we’d anticipated as licensing old songs is always a lengthy process and needs the time and attention to make sure it’s done properly. Now that’s all complete we’re very happy that Vol.2 is the brilliant follow up to last years debut collection from the Rotation family and we know you’re going to love this one just as much. The 2LP gatefold features song histories from the original writers and musicians where it was possible to get them with the mastering and restoration once again superbly done by Simon Francis. Rotation’s Olly Shenton delivers more stunning artwork to finish the package. W A T E R L O O S U N S E T T E R S I won’t lie. We Out Here ruined me. This week has been HARD. Nothing to complain about; I know being knackered from a four-day party is a privilege, especially at my age(!) Will we ever learn? No, clearly not. Tickets have been booked for next year’s WOH and @rotationsoundsystem this morning. At Rotation I’ll get to hang out again with my good pal @wearethesunset just like I will this Sunday, when Andy and I will be found on London’s South Bank playing records and enjoying the good vibes and ace food at Between The Bridges. i’ve been looking forward to this one all summer, not least because Andy’s We Are The Sunset parties were always ace, but also because he’s a smashing chap with some brilliant music. Some of what I’ll be playing this weekend got an airing last week on 1BTN when I threw together a set for mine and @daveholloway99 Guilty Feet show. It includes a BRAND NEW remix of AyX which will definitely blow the cobwebs away! Also… It’s GF’s fifth birthday next month, which, some might say, was the behavioural age he and I closest resembled last weekend and that’s surely why I’m still in recovery. Check it out on Mixcloud, if you fancy it! Have a fun Bank Hols kids. Rave safe.
