I had a lot of fun shooting the 2026 9th Annual Memorial 3 Gun Competition this weekend. It was a great match and I was able to shoot with a great group of shooters, and a few of their family members, to honor 10 fallen warriors. This was one of the more fun stages and one that I had some decent video of me and the targets.

Day 4 of the 2026 @ipscworld Shotgun World Shoot is complete. Men’s Standard Team USA is holding onto 3rd place with Poland trailing close behind and the Ukrainians with a moderate lead and Finland has left us all in their rearview mirror as they are destined for Gold. 1 more day of shooting and the World Champions will be victorious! #theuspsa #navy #benelli

👀 .40 sec RELOAD!! Did you see it?! There's so much time in the reload! 😆 The secret to a speed reload is...well just watch and find out! I got a lot done in between shots!

2026 USPSA Multigun Nationals

It was HOT….. I had no idea I was heading to the “cool” north for temps hotter than what I left in KC. A fun squad of shooters made the temps much more tolerable. Everyone had “brain farts” with the heat, and I was no different. The stages were fun, gimmick-free, and challenging. This match should absolutely have more competitors at it in 2027!!! Let’s just hope heading north in July provides the cooler weather next year.

I had 3 Deltas and 3 Mikes, but I had ZERO malfunctions of any sort. I can’t blame my gear for the mistakes I made, but I can credit them for keeping me as competitive as I am!

The stage i think most people had an opinion on during the 2026 @hd3gun match.

I changed my stage plan right before the beep. Totally a bad decision, originally was going to shoot slugs first and then i came up with the bright idea of not... lol.

Totally forgot about them, and ending on the wobbliest wobbly bridge in the world wasnt a great option. So i ran all the way back to where you could see them and brace... stepping out of the shooting area in the process thus giving me an additional penalty... as you could leave the shooting area but only if you were holding a pistol... :)

So here is me shooting a 60% lol was a huge dumpster fire.

After a weekend of PCC, it’s back to Modified 3-gun where I belong. Everything ran 100%, and no penalties, so no complaints with a division win for the weekend.

Stage six of the @zoocity3gunchampionship Battle for the south was fun I enjoyed the use of all three guns and ran into a couple firsts on this stage. At the end of the pistol portion I felt something rattling in the gun right before I fired my last shot then realized it went dry, reloaded, and as I looked down the sights I noticed the one shot I fired was an alpha so not knowing what the rattling was I just left it. Come to find out a round was under the follower loose in the bottom of that mag so I guess it’s time for new springs. Also the shotgun portion went so well getting almost all the doubles when I got to the end I couldn’t fit the quad with the two slugs in the gun so I had to shoot a few rounds before I could get the slugs in but I guess that’s a good problem to have just gotta adjust on the fly and send it!

Total shoutout to @freestateuspsa, @harleymorgan77, and @3gun_kevin for putting on this match!

Thank you to the match sponsors, @benelli_usa, @brileymfg, @vortexoptics, and more, for supporting the shooting sports! And, not to mention, helping Team USA prepare for the IPSC Shotgun World Shoot in Greece this fall!

Shotgun fun was had at Gadsden Shotgun Championship. Chad avoided the once per decade backhand to the jewels during awards, sly one he is!

PCC, especially an MBX PCC, is a cheater’s tool for competition, managed to beat my shotgun scores by about 11%. It sure doesn’t hurt when your steel PCC mags hold more than an entire box of 9mm, yet never malfunctions.

Good times were had with good people. I’ll be back for more!

Didn't realize this was gonna be a long range pistol match!

Another fun stage from the @texas3gunchampionship

Started with a few pieces of steel on the hillside out to just under 500yds I believe, which were no problem for the @xcaliberbarrels rifle with the @vortexoptics Razor 1-10 on top. Then switched to the @rothperformance XB3G (with a Vortex dot on top) for a mix of steel and static clays, with 1 aerial clay at the end. Finished it up with the Prodigy (you'll never guess what dot is on top of that one...) with 10 pieces of steel, the last one being a c-zone silhouette at 90yds. Stages like this are my favorite in the whole game, all 3 platforms, long distance, static and moving targets, natural terrain with long movement. We need more major matches in central TX.

@federalpremium Federal Prarie Storm-ing shotgun spinners is some of the most bestest time you can have at a 3-fun match! It helps me even the field between my totally awesome tube shotty and my open division friends. 1350 is kosher in the Zoo City rulebook (the best ruleset) among others. It unfortunately blows out @brileymfg comp-chokes, which according to @3gun_amax may no longer be covered under their excellent warranty. #OnThePerfPodcast #GaryOfTheDay #mtsga Make Tube Shotgats Great Again
