in my sobriety, i’ve started to get my passion for drawing/painting back. for my first thing i’m willing to share: i may have broken the rules & decided to perceive Sydney 😈
although i definitely could’ve used my default medium (oil on canvas) & this piece still would have worked, i believe this is a slight statement piece.
although Sydney is one of the boldest personalities i know, i feel as if her softer side is often overlooked by those around her.
on the surface, you may see a goofy, fun gal that fearlessly takes on the world as if she owns the place.
dig deeper & you’ll find that she’s quite the empathetic gal who feels deeply and loves passionately, with her whole heart. nothing that she’s gone through has made that heart or spirit grow cold & that’s something that inspires me daily.
thank you for being a part of my life & i hope you enjoy this as much as i enjoyed making it. ❤️
here’s to my most favorite OG emo gal to have existed!
