I was asked to inspire, instead I was the one who was inspired!

Grateful to kick off March with brilliant girl scouts from my country talking about the power of education, breaking the glass ceiling, girls supporting girls, and the importance of building alliances, especially with boys and men, to continue fighting for inclusion and our rights. As a former Girl Scout myself, it was quite emotional to be amongst these young, dedicated women.

As we embark on Women’s History Month and as International Women’s Day approaches (I have a love-hate relationship with this day since I believe everyday is women’s day), I invite you to keep an open mind and an open heart, particularly when it comes to respecting the struggle of women from all walks of life, from all skin color, and all ethnicities. Women’s rights are human rights, and at a time when human rights laws are being thrown under the bus, we have a bigger duty, now more than ever, towards our communities and towards the future generations, to safeguard them.

The pionnere ended their scout year with a raid of 33 Km!! 🚶‍♂️🎒 ⛺️
From Wata l Joz to Okaibeh, they walked, sang and learned a lot of things through different steps along the way 🧭 🗺

They even walked through Jabal Moussa Biosphere and explored nature from another angle! ☀️🌲
