Introducing 2028 Scholar, Ann Macon Watkins!

Outside of ILA, Ann Macon serves as Assistant VP of Programming for Zeta Tau Alpha, Marketing and Events Coordinator and Print Columnist for Rouge Magazine, and Guest Relations Associate at AthBnB. She is also a Lead Worship Vocalist for Cru at UGA, mentors women through Cru and ZTA, and is a member of Order of Omega.

A fun fact about Ann Macon:
This past summer, Ann Macon studied at Oxford University through the UGA at Oxford program! She took a tutorial course on international human rights with an Oxford law professor and a Terry digital marketing and AI course with UGA professor Sundar Bharadwaj. During her time abroad, she also traveled to six cities across the UK and the Netherlands!

When asked, “Why ILA?” she said:
"I've always loved being a leader in my classes and community, and I love how ILA fosters growth in students striving to be better leaders. The professors who lead ILA take the time to understand us as both students and people, and they always feel like they're in our corner. ILA has given me a community of Terry students who encourage me to become a better student and leader, a network of alumni who invest in students intentionally, and a place to grow the skills I'm so passionate about!"

Seeing this in print means everything. Rouge Magazine was one of the first places that gave me a shot when I picked up a camera, so being part of this release feels full circle.
