Just a hint of this morning’s oyster mushroom {private property} harvest ~ thanks to down-the-road neighbors & new friends Eric & Pam (@hudson_river_tattoo @granderocks). So much fun! Recipe inspiration from a favorite 🍄 book by @eugeniagbone via my own @round_top_library And join me in welcoming Lucy (@_chrysostomos) ~ daughter of one of my oldest & dearest friends @suslcarp ~ to Round Top for the summer. No filter, by the way. Could the sky and air be any weirder today? #cookingwithmushrooms #wildmushroomforaging

Hello friends, it’s been a while! Over the past few months Henning & I have sanded floors, cut & planed loads of lumber, built dining room tables, painted walls & ceilings, fixed plumbing, refurbished furniture, installed doors, re-wired outlets, polished antique rusted steel (pictured here) & so much more. Check back often for news from Heart’s Content Road ❤️ as we’ll finally be open (some time) this year. ETA TBA.
