Canada’s worst golf course and hidden gems search day 46(vibes round)

The Dunes- Grande Prairie AB

I had the pleasure of playing a round at the dunes with two amazing guys, @brocklee.richard and @anthonykenned through the @roundsgolfapp Golf app and got to use some new @vicegolf pro plus balls to sink a couple birds(mostly bogeys) all though they didn’t have any @sunday_session that didn’t bring us down! Both of these absolute legends have help me out on bad days and on good days! This is what new friendships are about, complete strangers on the first tee box and new lifelong friends after 18! Tons of chats about life and mental health and how we deal with our struggles and being able to learn from new people how to deal with my own struggles! golf is more than just trying to get low scores, but if you just wanna go low then hey, all the power to you! Be kind or kick rocks!

Canada’s worst golf course and hidden gems search day 45
Farmington fairways, Peace River regional District, BC

I cannot say enough about this place. From John, Sebastian and Melanie running this family-owned and operated course, to Sebastian — the local 1 handicap and coach of their junior play program — you can tell how much they care about golf and their community.

They’ve got an amazing junior play program, a great seniors program, a beautiful RV park with great amenities, and an awesome clubhouse with seriously good food.

And the course? Absolutely mint. Great greens, fairways and bunkers, and incredibly well taken care of.

But the best part is the people. The hospitality from the family, staff and locals was unreal. Just genuine, salt-of-the-earth people who make you feel welcome the second you get there.

Farmington Fairways is exactly the kind of place I hoped I’d find on this trip. An absolute hidden gem. ❤️⛳️ @farmingtonfairways @roundsgolfapp @vicegolf

Canada‘s worst golf course and hidden gems day 43
Poplar hills, Fort Nelson BC

I can’t say enough about this place. There’s so much history that Buddy the GM told me, so many amazing locals, and such great hospitality! This could be one of my favourite hidden gems so far! They have a great juniors play program for the kids, and there was tons of parents with their kiddos out! The course is an amazing shape and has a wicked layout! Y’all need to go check this place out! Thank you Buddy for having me and giving me all the knowledge! If you want to learn more about this place, give Buddy a shout or pop in to Poplar Hills!

Canada’s worst golf course & hidden gems day 42
Ardmore family gc, Ardmore AB
🚨LINKS IN BIO ON MAIN PAGE🚨

I’ll be honest it does have its ups and downs and it needs some loving just like us all, but I think this is a hidden gem because of all the family members, The kids play programs and they let pups on the golf course! The staff is amazing, The local people are absolute gems, it’s a small family operated place, even has a driving range! Don’t judge a book by its cover until you get out! We had a Hoot! Sprocket rolled around in some puddles, I had to adapt my game, but I still had a blast!

DAY 37 and huge shout out to @cam_clark_ford @fountaintireairdrie Jeff for getting the truck back in shape! @dripbloc in Calgary for the decal and all the folks at @fraserwayrv in Airdrie for the help! The more we talk about mental help and ask for help the more this community grows and we can come together to help each other out no matter what it is! This is what Canadians are all about 🇨🇦
