I had the honor to be the Miss NSU 2026 spray tan artist over this past year. Knowing someone trusts you to give them a tan is such a special feeling. Knowing you’re able to make people feel comfortable in a vulnerable moment, but to also help give them a confidence boost for whatever the occasion may be. Thank you Addison for letting me be a small part of your journey and for trusting me for such an important time in your life. You are the perfect person to hold such a high position and a great example to others. I can’t wait to see what you do next!💚

What a day and what a year for my Addison Ann! A whole year of representing and serving Northeastern State University. As she said in her farewell speech, she will continue to serve and love this university. Thank you to all the people who showed up to support and love my girl tonight! Your encouragement means the world.

Almost one year ago, I had the esteemed honor of being crowned Miss Northeastern. I knew I wanted to grow at NSU, so I had to put myself in challenging situations. 800 students visited, my independent philanthropy event, 2 item drives, 3 visits to the Capitol, the Miss Oklahoma Competition, and countless appearances later, I know I have done just that. This year would not have been possible without my village— I am eternally grateful for you all.

Northeastern State University, I will forever be your girl. You have shaped me into the woman I am becoming. Thank you for entrusting me to represent you. I’m just getting started, and I will keep giving you my all for the next 3 years! Good news, NSU— I know you’re in great hands with Summer! I am forever honored to be Miss Northeastern, 2026, Addison Rouse.

As we go into this weekend and get ready to crown a new Miss NSU tomorrow night, we want to take a moment to thank our current Miss NSU, Addison Rouse. Addison has been such a light for our office and NSU, and her year of service as Miss NSU will forever be remembered by one word: unforgettable. Addison, you will forever be so special to our office and this institution. THANK YOU, from our entire department! Come to the CPA tomorrow night to see who will wear the crown next! Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door!

In case you are wondering what it feels like to be a pitchers mom, in the bottom of extra innings, scores tied, and we are intentionally walking people to load the bases for a force out, with 1 out, AND this happened more than once. (We won it in 13 innings🙌🏻)
Thanks Tigervision for broadcasting, I got several texts from my people checking on me😜🤣. FG LadyTigers headed to State! ❤️🥎
