All these peaks and we haven’t reached the top yet love. 10 years together and a trip to the PNW. It was surreal. Glad to be back home but traveling with this family was great! I’m grateful for the life I’ve lived and can’t wait for what’s next. LOVE YALL

October ~ November ~ December

Quarter four was equal parts tough and tender, wonder and grief. I planted seeds, I danced, I laughed, I cried. I was held so tightly by my community, and through it all am excited for what comes next. It is a fruit ripening with untold possibilities.

Tomorrow is not promised. Though the way may be hard, the hope to journey on is the light in the dark.

See you in 2026, my friends. May your light shine brightly!

April ~ May ~ June 2025

The end of Q2 feels like waking up. This quarter taught me the importance of choosing myself, of being the one to seek what I want and need. I made the difficult decision to resign from my job to begin building my next chapter, and I’m paying very close attention to what this moment feels like. To walk away from something I built and am so very proud of in order to seek what sustains me. It is scary, and inspiring, and exciting. It is full of possibility and craving. It feels like reconnecting with old friends and going on silly adventures, it feels like the hope of a new future for my beloved New York City, it feels like the warmth of dear friends and family during a time when I needed their love and support more than ever. Over the past three months, I’ve tried many new things, made a ton of art, said yes to myself - to purple hair and long naps and adventure, and discovered a deep well of strength and pride.

I’m looking forward to what comes next.

Experienced an obscene amount of love this past week celebrating my 40th birthday and wondering how I ever got to be so lucky to be surrounded by generous, uplifting and joyful love in this way. Thank you to everyone who celebrated with me - in person or otherwise. Thank you to every person who traveled from near and far (I couldn't tag most, damn 20 tag limit). Thank you to my forever champion and cheerleader @bigbawsraws. And thank you @gaiamusiccollective (and @sickchariot for the prompting) for the gift that was a room full of strangers singing to me! May you all be so loved, even when you can’t find it in you to love yourself.
