Today's FMP: Rovena Leitao's Oye Aunty! . Aunties have always been problematic within the Indian community. They're the first to raise their eyebrows and publically judge you, nitpick and gossip about you. Aunties usually believe that they do so because they ‘care,’ not accepting that it really hurts the people around them. . I implemented everyday household products into my project. Since these are day to day items, it’s easier for Aunties to notice them and hopefully reflect on their actions, and how their actions negatively impact on the lives they gossip about. Hence, packaging design of household products and designed outdoor posters were created to send out that message under the brand name ‘Oye Aunty!’. . #graphicdesign #designforgood #sociallyconsciousdesign #sociallyconsciousbrands #communicationarts #eyemagazine_ #eyemagazine #designweek #creativereview #print_mag #printmagazine #itsnicethat #dezeen #dezeenmagazine #graphicdesignblg #contemporarygraphicdesign #proudtobemdx #middlesexuniversitydubai #mdxdubai
