Where does your ticket go? Most shows answer to investors. Ours answers to members. OurFest is a people powered music co op in Denver, so there is no one to pay back and no profit skimmed off the top. 5 percent goes to the land fund, saved toward festival grounds the members will own. The show's costs come out. The rest is split between the DJs, live acts and dancers who make the show, and some is kept back to start the next one. Members see the books after every show. That is how tickets stay at $15 online, $20 at the door. Members vote to choose who performs. Our first show is Thursday, January 21, downtown Denver. Vote for who performs at ourfest.co (link in bio). #denvermusic #denverevents #coop #owntheparty #denverhouse #denverbass
