as the album approaches, i’d like to share where most of these songs were birthed…me sitting and writing on acoustic guitar (except “letting go” (which was written in 2023) and “give and take” which was written on piano!

This close to the order that these songs were actually written in (tho not perfect, but neither am i)

just wanted to share a piece of the process with yall

with that all being said….ALBUM OUT FRIDAY!!

5 days till my first album - “Trying Our Best Vol. 2: Déjà Vu” - since 2018 (Redemption by Stairwayz IYKYK)

This project has been a long time coming and most of the songs were birthed years ago but “imperfected” overtime to create the atmosphere of the narrative i wanted to convey. The narrator starts on The Road coming to terms with his addiction and life choices while finally making the effort to change his ways. This leads directly into track 2 where he is thrown back into the past and forced to directly confront how he dealt with relationships (with others and himself) not all of them in the way he should have. This project has been a blast to create and promote but i’m so excited for what comes next (a little six song “intermission” to TOB going more in depth about the addiction rather than “tip-toeing” around the subject)

finally, having a little party on friday to celebrate and hang with yall! info on the last slide…dm for addyyyy

this is all finally becoming so real! my heart is filled with so much love and inspiration as we’re reaching the last few weeks before Trying Our Best Vol. 2: Déjà Vu releases (May 29th)! i couldn’t be more excited to share this journey with you all, because it has not been all positive/uphill but i’m extremely grateful for my support circle that has pushed me to get this out to the world. i am forever thankful for each and every one of you! that being said, i cannot wait till the 29th, and i hope you’ll join me in celebration for this project :)
