Had a wonderful weekend working the @nanaimojazzfestival !
It was a wonderful time on as a stage hand on Wesley street, and running sound at the dingy dock pub! I got to work with some amazing technicians and musicians.

Also got to work one of the most cinematic load outs ever!
Thank you @mya9220 for bringing me out!

The Sunset Concert with @powerbynet_ was such a great success last year! Were you able to make it? Let us know about places in town you think would be suitable for an unexpected concert for the 2025th Festival happening from June 26th to 29th.

It was a privilege to work with this fine musician, composer and bandleader, Rowan Farantosh, at Hermann's Jazz Club. I also enjoyed the chemistry with other musicians. What a treat!

3 things that make my heart smile after a live show:

1️⃣ ‘I couldn’t stop dancing!’ 💃🕺 Hearing that people feel the groove and let loose on the dance floor means everything. Creating a vibe where everyone can just feel the music is my ultimate goal. 🎶

2️⃣ ‘Wait, you play drums and sing at the same time?!’ 🥁🎤 This one always gets me! Balancing the rhythm and vocals is definitely a challenge, but when it clicks, there’s no better feeling. It’s a blessing to do what I love and share that with you all.

3️⃣ ‘Your band is incredible, you all connect so well on stage!’ 🎷🎸🎹 Our band has so much chemistry, and every show feels like a new journey we get to take with the audience. We’re just grateful you can feel the energy too.✨

I’m so humbled by the love and support after every show, and it means the world to me. Thank you for dancing with us and letting the music move you. 🙏🏾 Speaking of music, I’m dropping my new single Exercise this Friday, Sept 27th! 🔥 You can pre-save it now via the link in my bio! 📲
