Who knew that my first day working for SoonerVision would end up with me being hired for ESPN for the day

I worked as a production assistant for SEC Network to help with their studio show, SEC NOW. This show aired during the pregame and halftime show of OU’s football game yesterday. I assisted their field producer, Alex Gajewski and the team

My jobs may have included but were not limited to:

1. Making sure the videographer didn’t trip while filming “The Walk of Champions”

2. Welcoming and Receiving Guests before and after interviews

3. Properly rolling up cords, carefully storing equipment, picking up gaffer tape, assisting in general clean up

4. Intimidatingly, watching over equipment so no one steals it

I may have been only been a PA but a learned a lot from this experience. The team was incredibly nice and enjoyed sharing about their experiences working all over the country. One person even patiently taught me how to correctly roll up cords which is very appreciated!

I couldn’t have asked for a better first day on the job!

Thank you EMHS Track for the best 4 years.
Ending my career as a back to back State Champion in discus, 3x top 5 State placer, and with the number 2 all time discus throw at Memorial. Thank you to my teammates for making this time so memorable and special. To my coaches, thank you for putting up with me and always pushing me to be the best I can be. I love you all always. Onto the next. See you soon Wichita.
