Dive deep into the heart of *Seahorse* with the incredible creative team\! Clay D & Queen Dè of Queens Court Conversations and Capital & Culture sat down with Director/Writer/Actor @AishaEvelyna, Bahamas Unit DP @TonyWitDaSony, and rising star Rowan (Young Actor) to discuss the film’s powerful themes: family, community, healing, food, estrangement, and stability. Aisha Evelyna shared that the emotional seed for the film was rooted in observing housing and poverty struggles in her Toronto community, linking them to food and the need for community to survive. DP Tony Williams spoke about drawing his inspiration from the film community in Nassau. And Rowan, the youngest person ever interviewed on our platforms, gave us the best advice for aspiring actors: “Don’t overthink it”. Watch the full conversation now as part of our \#ABFF coverage\! **YouTube Link:** <https://youtu.be/MazXwfLmwA0> **Read Clay D’s companion piece on the power of community:** <https://claydstrategist.substack.com/p/seahorse-and-the-power-of-community> @SeahorseMovie @CitrinePresents @NRemplakowski (Producer) @AishaEvelyna @NancaFrass (Associate Producer) @TonyWitDaSony @RowenaSutherland (Rowen’s mom’s account) #SeahorseFilm #ABFF #QueensCourtConversations #CapitalAndCulture

Extremely grateful and privileged to have a part in the creation of the @seahorsemovie ! Special thanks to @aishaevelyna @nremplakowski and @nancafrass for reaching out and bringing me on to provide additional cinematography for the Bahamas unit. So far the film has been screened at multiple festivals including @sxsw @atlantafilmfestival and will screen at @americanblackfilmfestival in the coming weeks. Was a great time shooting and working with everyone and this is just the beginning for Seahorse!
