Folks are definitely getting ready for tying season and making plans for local public tying events! The Daytripper is nicely designed to keep your select vise, tools and materials in an organized and beautifully hand-crafted chest. Only at Twisted Feather.

This was a custom order in Figured Bubinga.

What a weekend at Orvis!

Yesterday I shared the story of Jama Goers who traded her raffle prize to take home the Mackenzie Midge.

Today, I wanted to share something equally special-
Seeing Cat Toy, Jeff Rowley, Jason Haddix, Travis Hanson and Cole Conley all tying flies with their Twisted Feather chests!

When you spend countless hours in the shop designing and building these chests, there's nothing quite like seeing them being used by talented fly tyers.

Thank you all for your support, and thank you to everyone who helped make this event such a success!

Kim Mutaw will be filling in as guest host for Allen tonight!

August’s bio-

Minnesota based out of the box fly tyer who splits his time between musky, trout and smallmouth mostly. Known for musky flies, multiple trophies landed on my flies. Known mostly for “composite Brush synthetic bulkhead musky flies “ a technique involving creating the entire fly on the brush table. Sig tyer for Muskyfool (rip), squimpish flies and others. When not chasing essox I love trout on dries and when it’s too hot I move to smallies then back again.
