A fun weekend exploring the Notre Dame campus which is steeped in tradition and rich history!
A wet and cold game but a solid win and fun atmosphere kept us warm!

A beautiful weekend in DC! Was so fun to surprise my mom and cheer her on through her 12th Marine Corps Marathon finish!! Some fun hustling around the city with my Dad and brother (Noah you were missed!!) and my feet are tired and I didn’t even do half a marathon!
Saw some awesome runners kicking butt and pushing each other across the finish line! Also had a serendipitous visit to a local yarn shop of course and got some good knitting progress done! 🥰

It’s a marathon, not a sprint. And it takes a village. Some of the “behind the scenes” from the marathon.
First and foremost. could not have done this without my mom who not only was my accountability buddy throughout training but also has been a huge inspiration for me! She has run more than 10 marathons in her life 🤯!! I hated splitting up but she has always encouraged me to dream big and be independent. Proud of her hard work and getting back to something she loves so much. It was an honor to do it together with her. ❤️ love you mom.

I also could not have done any of this training or finished the race without “the boys” and our amazing support crew! From meeting me on training runs (and maybe taking me home on one or two of them when I was simply “over it”) to cheering me on literally ALL day from the start line to the finish. I’m incredibly thankful for my dad, brothers and Andy for all their love and support! ❤️

The less pretty side… the blisters, the injuries and the pain. Shoutout to @kttape for helping my banged up knees and feet make it to the end! Could not have done it without the literal extra support 😂

Mission Accomplished. 26.2 miles and more than a few hours later… my 3rd marathon is complete. ✅

I love the @marinecorpsmarathon and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new race to try! One of my favorite fellow runners on the course that I was SO happy to see was Steve! This was his 45th MCM (he’s only missed TWO!!) and it was really inspiring to see him on the course!

(Longer, sappier post coming soon once I have feeling in my feet again and can think!)

Just a few of my favorites from our family session with @coriwinslowphotography over Thanksgiving!!

Blessed to have such amazing and loving people by my side. Take nothing for granted. I love this goofy, nerdy family of mine and wouldn’t trade them for the world. Thankful each and every day. Far apart but close in Heart. ❤️

A special thank you to Cori for capturing these moments and making it fun and easy despite the relentless wind (#beyoncéhair 😂) and cold! She was amazing and I would highly recommend her!! If you’re in the New England/Cape Cod area be sure to reach out to her!

Happy Mother’s Day to the most loving and giving woman I know, my momma! ❤️ She is strong, loving, smart and beautiful among many other things. I’ve loved making so many amazing memories with you and will cherish everything from the watching fireworks with silly “firework glasses” to dragging you to the edge of snowy cliffs on Mt. Ranier! I can’t wait to see you again soon and climb even more mountains together! Love you always mom! ❤️🥰 (Also, if that first photo doesn’t accurately sum up our family dynamic idk what does. Lol gotta love family #discord calls)
