Had the best time last night at our Atlanta Conservatory’s Trilith Studio Tour and panel discussion! ✨🤩

It was so worth the trip in stormy weather. The tour, the panelists, connecting and reconnecting with fellow industry professionals was every thing!

I was so engaged in the experience that I failed to take many photos. But I think that first photo from @shayr_guthrie says it all.🥹

Thanks @adenab and rest of conservatory team including @trilithstudios for arranging this!

Thanks @1charityjordan @fincannonmark for inspiring us! How can we not be moved after those golden nuggets received!

Have to imagine that #Hubcap is a little inspired by #QuentinDupieux & #Rubber. Instead of a tire w/ telekinesis, we get a vengeful hubcap.

In the normally normal normal town in Georgia, Rainy #AshHamilton has taken over for her dead father as the new sheriff. There are a few that doesn’t sit well w/. She’s got 2 deputies in Poole #RudyEisenzopf & Chapman #QuinnBozza. There’s also Bev #RoxzaneTMims, the local detective. She’s gonna need all their help.

Disabled vet Fred #MichaelColley rolls up on Tommy #CarterBurch & Rachel #ChristinaLeidel, sitting in a car in a public lot. He chats up Rach, which doesn’t sit well w/ Tommy, who backs his car into the guy in a wheelchair, killing him & losing a hubcap in the act. Somehow the spirit of Fred has s imbued in the metal & the hubcap goes looking for revenge!

However, while looking for Tommy, he’s not opposed to wreak murderous mayhem on other guys how mistreat women, usually by flying across their throats, slicing it open til they bleed out. Obviously, no 1 jumps to the finish sea of a killer hubcap, so the streak extends for a while.

While trying to figure it out, Rainy enlists coroner Bo #AdamBoyer for help. However, the dear doc has more in his mind than solving crime, as he tries to woo as well as help. As he helps, Mayor James #HollyMorris tries to hinder. She’s not to keen on the only female sheriff in Georgia.

Can our heroes piece together the unlikely clues before the killer hubcap finds Tommy? Do we want them to save him, even if they do? It’s a weird/fun journey, done on a real low budget w/ a lot of local actors whose names you might not recognize yet.

I like to root for underdog #movies like this because it’s so hard to get noticed. I enjoyed this 1 & look forward to the next they will do. #movie #film #films #screeningoftheday #horrorcomedy #horror #horrormovies #horrormovie #horrorfilm #horrorfilms

#TheFakeMovieCritic OH MY GOODNESS!! We had an absolutely wonderful time Zooming with Booker T. Mattison, Director of The Sound Of Christmas on BET+! 22 registered and 18 joined the conversation GROWN FOLK STYLE and we had a blast. He was extremely personable and shared a lot of the nuances of directing and writing a script. I am so satisfied because I got to ask him all of the questions that I had; we all were satisfied. Bravo on masterful artistry and MY FAVORITE Christmas movie. Thank you to those of you that participated! I am going to watch The Twisted Marriage Therapist, another film that he wrote and directed. Might be Zooming on that one. How amazing it was that he offered to come back and he told us about his new script! I AM LIVING MY DREAM! Thank you for being a partner to this movement of celebrating, watching, sharing and discussing movies of all genres! The Breath Of Life will be the next Zoom for The Fake Movie Critic Group. Let’s GO! #TheFakeMovieCriticGroup! #JustAPEARLWhoLovesMovies @bookert.mattison @roxzanemims @betplus @tiffanylwarren @neyo @serayah BRAVO!!!
