Let’s make a coconut cake for @roy_and_alex 🥥🌴🍰 The lovely Alex reached out and asked if I could make Roy’s favourite coconut cake for a little taste of home — and if I do say so myself, I think I did a pretty good job! 🤭🥥 Nothing better than baking something with a little love and nostalgia behind it. 💛 #sotogrande #coconutcake #baking #bakewithme #birthdaycake

Sunday funday, Costa del Sol style. Beach clubs and chiringuitos are quickly becoming one of our favorite ways to cool off from the summer heat, relax by the Mediterranean, and spend the day with great friends. The wild part? @roy_and_alex were our neighbors back in Los Angeles, but we never actually met them! It took moving all the way to Spain to become neighbors again, and now close friends. A match made in España. 🙌❤️🇪🇸 @chambaosotogrande. #lifeinspain #andalucia #sotogrande #costadelsol #chiringuito

One of our favorite things about living in Spain is having the opportunity to learn about a different culture and immerse ourselves in new experiences. Las night we had our first experience with the explosive and celebratory summer festival, La Noche de San Juan with some great friends. An enormous bonfire was ceremoniously lit at exactly midnight to the dramatic soundtrack of Chariots of Fire to symbolically burn away the old. Midnight dips in the sea are believed to bring luck, renewal, and a fresh start for summer. There were thousands of people packed onto the beach to witness the annual, midnight spectacle, and it was a truly memorable and exciting evening. El verano ha llegado oficialmente. ☮️❤️🇪🇸🔥💥 #spain #nochesanjuan #bonfire #summer #travel
