Little hearts learning about the journey of Hajj 🤍

Through role play, storytelling, movement, and hands-on activities, children begin to connect with the beauty and meaning behind the pillars of Islam in a way that feels engaging and memorable.

One of the things we love most is seeing learning come alive through curiosity, play, and reflection 🌙

Resources kindly sourced from @almisbaahresources and personalised by ourselves with each child’s individual details ✨
May Allah place barakah in their work.

I honestly think seeing Ramadan through the kids eyes is the most wholesome feeling I’ve ever experienced. Have you got your decorations up yet? 💛

Motherhood in Ramadan is carried quietly. Fasting on low energy, caring for children, breastfeeding, sometimes pregnant, keeping the home moving, balancing work and still trying to be present.

It’s easy to feel like we’re rushing while others seem to do it ‘properly,’ as if worship is just out of reach. Yet motherhood doesn’t take us away from devotion - it is one of its greatest forms.

Every act of nurture, patience, and love, done with intention, becomes ibadah - quiet, constant, and deeply honoured, even when it feels ordinary.

A few gentle reminders for myself first, and for us mums when everything feels full and our hearts are trying their best.

• Lower the bar, raise the intention
Your worship may be shorter, interrupted, or quieter than before. Begin each task — feeding, cleaning, soothing with intention. What’s done for the sake of Allah is never small.

• Build worship into what’s already happening
Dhikr while cooking or picking children up from school. Dua while settling them to sleep. Quran playing softly in the background. Presence matters more than form.

• Protect your energy, not just your time
Some days your best act of worship is taking a nap over pushing yourself harder.

• Create calm through rhythm, not control
Children don’t need elaborate Ramadan plans. Familiar routines, simple involvement, and consistency are enough.

• Put the phone down when you can
Comparison steals the barakah of this month. Your Ramadan is allowed to look like your life.

When we slow down and show up with intention, our presence becomes a form of worship and Allah sees what no one else does ☁️📿
