✨ Art Unites Us 🗽 and We’re Grateful Beyond Words ✨ On Thursday, July 24th, we experienced a truly special edition of Ve al Teatro as part of our international initiative Art in the Park. In the green heart of Manhattan, Central Park became the perfect stage to showcase the dazzling talent of New York’s multicultural community. Under the summer sky, artists from different disciplines and corners of the world shared their passion and creativity: @fiollueve @fiorellaescribe @aaaroon_n @poshart.graphics @jorgetorrealba @leandrocomrie @romer7 @romer_prez @alexillustra @alyastarinc @guaicorastudios @mirnamezaz @new_hope_animations @veronicasantander1 @leonelgonzalez_art @darkreconstruction @sophoclesarts @startshows In this short clip, the brilliant minds of @tambornyc @chamomartinezok @cerebrosart @marcosafrocodigos @afrocodigos @wildvalkyrie @kanami_kusajima and @lethairdown share what it meant to be part of Trazos Libres 🗺️ a vibrant fusion of coastal music, dance, and free painting, celebrating the spirit of freedom 🗽. Our heartfelt thanks to every artist for your dedication, for sharing your light, and for reminding us that art is not only to be seen 🚏 it is to be felt, lived, and embraced. 🌿 Special thanks to Central Park Conservancy for opening the gates of this iconic space and allowing the magic to unfold.

She brings movement, color, and magic to @artinthepark — @Kanami_Kusajima (artistically known as @LetHairDown) is a dancer, choreographer, and performance artist from Japan, currently based in New York. She began studying modern dance at the age of 6 in Yokohama and moved to the U.S. to pursue her BFA in Dance at SUNY Purchase, where she graduated summa cum laude in 2020. “Let Hair Down” — a name with purpose. This stage name was born in 2020 during the pandemic, when she began performing in Washington Square Park. Her style blends improvised dance with live painting using sumi ink on canvas—or even on snow. The alias reflects how she lets her hair fall freely during her performances, partially obscuring her face, and also symbolizes the idea of letting go, of “unwinding.” An artist who fuses contemporary dance and improvisation with live painting, she brings her craft to public spaces in New York City. Her work aims to move people, promote human connection, and reclaim space for street art in the city. Art in the Park! @artintheparkny Music, Theatre, Painting and Art in Motion “In Tribute to the Liberator” The Art of Freedom! 🗓 Thursday, July 24th 🕓 04:00 PM to 06:00 PM 📍 Central Park • Monument to the Liberator Simón Bolívar 6th Avenue (Avenue of the Americas) and 59th St. 🙏 Thanks Central Park Conservancy
