Had a blast teaching with @skatelikeagirlsfbay serving kids of color in our community and big ups to @dlxsf and @vans for all the gear they’ve given to everyone. Welp...skatecamp is done. Bitter sweet for the boy because he didn't know what to expect.

He met his goals of finding a skate buddy, landing a few tricks and being on his own w the @robskateacademy crew for 6 hours a day all week!

I think the highlight of the week was him actually being able to skate in the @brailleskate house thanks to his amazing camp leaders @royblacklavender and @nigglejones.

I highly, highly recommend trying this out if you have a lil skater in your home. As an educator, I was very impressed observing the professionalism and responsibility these young men took on taking this group of kids to local skateparks, making sure they were fed and supported in whatever they wanted to know about skating. Big ups and mad props for planning and driving. Beanie even got a little 10 minute run in this week!

Part of me wishes it was the entire month with as excited beetas was when he came home. We get a week off, then swimming for two weeks then vacaaaaaaay!

Happy friday! It's the weekend...
