at Leyton Mas Carnival, one of our incredible organisers, Roy Medallion, took a moment to thank everyone who helped make the day such a success. It was Roy’s first time being part of the organising team, and the emotion and gratitude he shared perfectly captured what the day was all about community, culture and people coming together with one purpose. To everyone who volunteered, performed, exhibited, supported, attended and believed in this event, thank you. Your energy, kindness and commitment made the carnival a celebration to remember. From all of us at Afiwe, we’re proud to have been part of such a special day, capturing the stories and celebrating the people who made it happen. 🎥 Watch Roy’s message and see why this day meant so much to everyone involved. #Afiwe #LeytonMas #Community #RoyMedallion #CarnivalCulture WalthamForest

I celebrated my birthday on Wednesday 15th July, then celebrated with family and friends on Sunday at the @ivytreeessex in Romford. Shout out to Alex and his team for looking after us. It was such a beautiful day. To everyone who came, my children, grandchildren, family and friends…thank you. Your love, laughter and support mean more than you’ll ever know. The last few years haven’t always been easy, but God has carried me through every season and surrounded me with amazing people. My heart is truly full. I missed my bestie @reshanay2019 my special friend @christinegiscombe and my adopted daughter @n_starshine, who were unable to make it, I danced for you🤣 A huge thank you to @roymedallion for the music and @chrisduberry my long time friend for keeping the party going. If you’re going through a difficult season, keep trusting God. Storms don’t last forever, and your rainbow is coming. I went fabric shopping with my friend Tracy to buy fabric for her but somehow came home with the last 3½ metres of the most beautiful rose gold faux leather! ✨ I turned it into my own birthday outfit, a corset top and pencil skirt which took me 2 days to make and I loved every minute of wearing it (even if the heels didn’t last all day! 😂). Here’s to another year of faith, purpose, creativity and making beautiful memories. Thank you, Lord. ❤️🙏 #birthdayblessings #gratefulheart #godsfaithfulness #madebyme #adinalondon
