And then we ran into the wonderful @roynewport and @hopesnigel who were hanging around Bath Abbey!

We went @toppingsbath for some local history and to take some snaps amongst their wonderful selection of books and more.

My 4th Jane Austen Festival ✨

Every year I come back not only for the costumes and the dancing, but to pay tribute to a woman who changed what it means to be a woman writer. In Austen’s time, women weren’t expected to be authors, yet she wrote anyway. That still matters enormously, and it matters to me personally, because I’m a writer too, even if I’m only at the very beginning of my journey 🪶

Thank you to everyone for the meetings, conversations and dances! Pictured: the Grand Promenade and Mini Promenade, the Harvest Ball and the Neptune Ball, Pump room dining, walking around Bath. Thank you @jafestivalbath for this wonderful event.
Until next year!
