Behind the scenes of “Labyrinth of Life” 🎬✨
1 music video. 6 eras. 6 sets. 7 days of filming.
Coming September 4.

Behind the Labyrinth…

A few years ago, I had a dream about life as a labyrinth. That dream became a song, a story, and the concept for a feature film — ultimately inspiring my concept album, Labyrinth of Life.

Now, that vision has come to life in one cinematic music video: six eras, six sets, and seven days of filming. More than a music video, Labyrinth of Life is a mini-movie — and a glimpse into the feature film we envision.

Every look, costume, prop, set, and detail was meticulously imagined, crafted, and brought to the screen by @welovepedring and his incredible A-team @blackopsstudiosasia. They didn’t just make a video; they helped turn one of my biggest creative dreams into reality.

“The Neon Age” was day one of our seven-day shoot — and the most unforgettable. Walking onto the set left me speechless. Our production designer @assancheese and her team had created a gritty, neon-drenched world, @itsjonabee costume transported me straight into the cyberpunk era, and the action sequences by our Action Director @sonny.808pride and stunt team put me into full apocalypse-fighting mode.

I can’t wait to share the magic, the madness, and the entire journey behind Labyrinth of Life with you.

Coming September 4. ✨

A special thank you to @garytysonphotographer for capturing these beautiful behind-the-scenes moments and helping preserve the magic of this journey.

Directed this music video for Mr. Bones and the Boneyard Circus nine years ago. Just two weeks of prep, insane costume design and a two day shoot. Still don’t know how we pulled this one off 😂

“The Age of Pharaohs” was pure magic — where every grain of sand, hieroglyphic, bead, and brushstroke brought Ancient Egypt to life. I play an Egyptian warrior, going toe-to-toe with her dark shadow self. With action director @sonny.808pride and stuntman @roysanreyes turning the fight into battle bliss, the whole shoot was an absolute blast!

After SELLBLOCK, I wanted to do something smaller and more intimate, so I went back to an old script I had written years ago and reworked it.

That became SHADOW TRANSIT.

Greenlit at Hong Kong FILMART in 2025, then 21 days shooting around Manila. Small crew, handheld, available light, real locations, and even a typhoon. Probably the shortest cycle I’ve ever done for a full feature.

We premiered the longer cut at QCinema, then went back into post for a shorter international version which eventually became my director’s cut.

A year after getting greenlit, we were back at FILMART in 2026 premiering that cut. Full circle.

Now SHADOW TRANSIT is being sold worldwide by APL Films.

Hopefully we bring it home next for a Philippine theatrical release.

“The Age of Crowns” is probably my favourite era from the entire Labyrinth of Life shoot. Stepping onto this spectacular set as the Queen, dressed in chainmail armour, sword in hand, with silvery hair and my “knights” by my side, felt like entering another world. In that moment, one of my childhood fairy tales had truly come to life.

I can’t wait to share the magic, the madness, and the entire journey behind Labyrinth of Life with you.
