Now on Axcess: The 2023 graduating class on Long Island already has 3 pro pitchers in Josh Knoth, Jason DeCaro and Justin LeGuernic. Rocky Point LHP Dom Carbone is looking to add to that list. After helping Rocky Point to a Suffolk County Championship in 2022, he pitched Coastal Carolina to the College World Series during his sophomore year in which he went 6-0 with 5 saves as the Chanticleer’s closer. They finished national runner-up after losing a thrilling best-of-three finals to LSU. He was named second team All-American and preseason first team All-American before enduring an elbow injury that cost him his season. Carbone redshirted and transferred to the University of South Carolina following his head coach, Kevin Schnall. The hard-throwing southpaw spoke to Axcess Baseball and the full story is coming today ⚾️

I am honored and excited to make my commitment to play Division I baseball at Seton Hall University.

That said I want to thank everyone who made this possible.
The Blue Line program, team, coaching staff, and Strovink family. Brennan and Kyle are two of the best guys around and were awesome in the recruiting process. Without Eric Strovink, Coach Reichenbach, and Coach Aschettino, I would not have developed into the baseball player and person I am today.
The same goes for the RP baseball program, Coach Anzalone, and Coach Glen. Also Coach Nick and Coach Berto who I not only made memories with, but taught me some of the most important lessons in baseball.
I would like to thank my family for raising me right and doing whatever it takes to help me reach my goals.
Lastly, I am extremely grateful for Coach Moran, Coach Shepherd, and the rest of the Seton Hall staff for giving me this opportunity.

A great night celebrating our boys and their All League selections. Great job by our Suffolk County Baseball Coaches Association, and congrats to all of tonight's winners.
