As we continue celebrating the behind the scenes shots of the documentary filming @queens_of_tequila, we can't help but fall in love with the master distiller @hermosillo_leticia and her family. Hearing the story, all the sacrifices and hard work to create one of the most beautiful distilleries where @cavadeoro and @sip_amatitan are produced, along with other amazing tequila spirits. Leticia demonstrates great pride in her children and in all the hard work they do at the distillery, from master distillers like her sons @apartida1477 and @gildardo_partida, to great marketing skills from @ph_leticia, @josselin_mpartida, and Yocely Partida. Her passion is like a fine aged tequila! Did we mention how much she loves to sing and how much they love their dogs! Stay tuned for the release of this documentary! We can’t wait for you to hear her story! #queensoftequila #tequila #méxico #agave #womensupportingwomen

We are starting our series again, behind the scenes. We went to film our documentary on Los Altos y Los Valles. On this day, we interview the founder of @gentebuenafoundation and @drinkvalor from NOM 1599. Please meet Christiane Maertens. This is a woman owned company dedicated to improving the community in which tequila is produced in San Pedro de Los Landeros. Christiane talks about her dedication to doing things differently and hopes to influence as a model for other brands. She talks about her passion, her vision, and the well being of the community where the tequila is being made. We can't wait for you to hear her obstacles, her determination, and her accomplishments as a woman in the industry. #méxico #tequila #queensoftequila #womensupportingwomen

What we love about this feedback from our test screening audience is that it sums up both the narrative we explore on screen and HOW we made the film - we challenged the way things are done in the film industry, as well as challenging the format in which stories have to be told. “Disruptive” fits!

And can we take a moment to appreciate @rpthedp Rashuad Polk’s cinematography, using beautiful @atlaslensco Mercury lenses , masterfully coloured by @stefcolosi ?
