Proud dad moment ❤️

On October 24, my daughter Mickey Raaphorst, aka @rradiodog, is opening her exhibition!

Mickey has created her own wonderfully dark, strange universe filled with monsters, distorted characters and bizarre creatures, somewhere between the sinister, manga, street art, absurdism and underground culture.

Expect monsters, weirdos, black humour, colourful experiments and a healthy dose of chaos :D

Opening October 24 — come and enter the world of rradiodog! 👹🖤

While our producer, Holland Harbor, is closing the financing for my next feature, Möbius, which will soon enter pre-production, I created some poster art. Inspired by what Rob Bottin did with ‘The Thing’, we used marshmallows and chewing gum in the microwave, asked my daughter Mickey to be the hand model, and collaborated with Peter van Geest for outstanding photography. Jurriaan Verdoold took care of the poster layout. No AI is involved—just physical objects and craft.

Had a glorious day at the Mystic Garden Festival with Sarina Reilingh and my daughters Robin and Mickey (who gave me the tickets for my birthday present), and friends. Thanks to our yellow rain ducks (coats) for keeping us dry. Awesome times! 😊🌼🎶 #MysticGardenFestival #FamilyFun #FestivalVibes #RainOrShine #MemoriesMade
