Red Bird - Ratcatcher

Got bored and made a little lyric video for Red Bird. Cut to one of my favorite movies which I thought was surprisingly very fitting to the song. Sharing some similar themes with the lyrics as well.

An ode to when YouTube was flooded with these kinds of unofficial fan made videos, and I would watch them endlessly. Except I wasn’t gonna wait for someone to do this one haha 🫶

The Follies by Red Bird, out streaming everywhere today. It was mastered by me and mixed by @logan.scrivner with wonderful cover art from Alex Kent. Jangles so soaringly like one of those 80’s New Zealand records I spent my adolescence speeding through the mountains too and also has these moments of drunken chamber pop that I really adore. Very thankful to have been trusted with such a rich debut.

In addition, I will be playing the LA leg of the Caspia album release shows for the girls’ record that I cannot be more thrilled for this Sunday. See you there?
