POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Some memories don’t just take us back — they push us forward.

Whenever I look at moments like this, I’m reminded that nothing meaningful comes easily. Every achievement has a price: time, effort, money, patience, and sometimes even our health.

There are days when the road feels long, when the pressure is heavy, and when giving up seems easier than continuing. But then one photograph, one memory, one moment reminds you how far you’ve already come.

This photo from the UEFA Champions League Final – Munich 2025 is one of those reminders for me.

Success is not one big moment. It is the result of countless sacrifices nobody sees.

Keep going. The journey is difficult, but the memories you create along the way make it worth it.

As my flight takes me back to Doha, I realize that the FIFA World Cup 2026 is now behind me—but it will always live on through the images I carry home.

I arrived in the United States among the first accredited photojournalists to cover the world’s biggest sporting event, and today, I leave among the last journalists departing after the final whistle.

Between arrival and departure was a journey measured not in miles, but in moments. Thousands of photographs, countless stories, endless hours behind the lens, and a relentless pursuit of history in its purest form.

The tournament has ended. The stadium lights have faded, the fans have gone home, and the celebrations have become memories. But photography never leaves. With every passing year, these images become more valuable—not as photographs alone, but as historical documents preserving an era, unforgettable players, remarkable teams, and moments that will never happen again.

I leave the United States carrying far more than luggage. I carry history written with light, memories framed through a lens, and stories that will remain for generations to come.

Because great tournaments come to an end… but great photographs never do.

Browsing the pages of New York Post Sports reminds me that sports journalism is more than reporting scores. It is about documenting history, preserving unforgettable moments, and inspiring future generations. Every headline tells a story, and every photograph leaves a legacy.

Sometimes the hardest part of the journey is knowing when to stop and heal.
After the injury, the plan changed… back home, rest, and faith in a stronger return.

A beautiful memory from Doha with Fabrizio Romano, one of the prominent names in international sports media.

Football is not only about matches and results; it is also about people, stories, and moments that remain in memory.

Special recognition and gratitude go to His Excellency Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, the visionary founder of Aspire Academy, known as “the Sheikh of Youth” and “the unseen architect behind every Qatari sporting success.” His unwavering dedication to nurturing young talent and building a sustainable sports development system continues to shape Qatar’s rise on the global football stage. May God protect and bless him for his service to Qatar and its youth.⁩
