⛳️ Another incredible Seattle Propeller Club Golf Tournament is in the books!
What started as a day on the course turned into something much bigger: a chance to bring our maritime community together, strengthen relationships, and raise meaningful funds for the Club, maritime education, and other charitable initiatives.
The biggest thank you to my teammates on the Golf Committee: Brad Westlund, Lee Swanson, P.E., Lane Richards, and Bart Pinder. Events like this don't happen and I'm so proud of what we accomplished together!
Since 2022, I have been honored to volunteer my time, event expertise, communications, and marketing support to the SPC. Supporting this organization has been one of the most rewarding experiences.
Thank you to everyone who sponsored, volunteered, donated, and played. The maritime industry is special because of its people, and this tournament was another great reminder of that.
Special shout out to my normie friends for coming out to play and volunteer! 😁 There's something special about being able to share your work world with people you love. ❤️🌭 Even if you did get boo'ed for winning too many raffle prizes 😆👻
Already looking forward to next year! ⚓🏌️‍♀️🏌️‍♂️

@westerntowboatco keeping the barges moving in Seattle. The Dwamish Waterway is a beehive of activity year round as cargo barges are loaded for Alaska and shifted into Elliot Bay to be received by the ocean going tugs for their multi day trips up the Inside Passage and beyond. Between barge shifts, there are small bulkers and local barge traffic that are escorted through choke points that leave almost zero room for error, but to experienced captains has become second nature.

S3 was a proud sponsor of the Seattle Propeller Club’s Spring Fling - An evening filled with 70s vibes, a live band, and an awesome raffle, all to benefit the Sea Scouts. 🙌
Thanks to everyone who came out to support a great cause—helping rehab the Scouts' SS Propeller and fund scholarships for aspiring Sea Scouts. 💙 We’re honored to be part of such a wonderful community!

Many of you know my connection to the maritime industry but if you're new here, I'll give you the cliffnotes!
A few years ago, I took a leap and launched S3. At the time, I'd just been introduced to some folks in the maritime community. They urged me to join the Seattle Propeller Club. I never pass up an opportunity for connection, so I applied for membership. Soon after, I was engulfed in the welcoming world of this incredible community. I am forever grateful that @compassarah encouraged me to get involved with this club. Serving on the board, and now as the Vice-President, has been an incredible experience and I look forward to another year of dedication.
We hosted our annual member meeting tonight aboard the Virginia V. New and old friends gathered to hear about the Club's successes and the plans for the upcoming year. Cheers to what we've accomplished and I am so excited to see what comes next!

Thankful for our incredible alumni! 🙏 With your help, we reached our $8,000 goal for the Puget Sound Scholarship Fund!! 🎓💙

We were joined at the Annual Alumni Dinner by two past recipients of this scholarship, Niko Ross and Matthew Rothschild 🙌 Both have bright futures ahead! It’s wonderful to see our fundraising efforts at work, and encourage the next generation in a meaningful way.

A massive THANKS also to our amazing sponsors that helped us make this Dinner out best yet! @crowleycorporation #Matson @fossmaritime @westerntowboatco @pugetsoundpilots #columbiariverbarpilots

Wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃

[SWIPE] What a year it’s been!! So many familiar faces, new grads, and visiting classmates come through 4th Thursdays this year. We also had more 4ths in Tacoma than ever before! We love to see everyone connect and keep up the CMA spirit 💙

We won’t be having a 4th Thursday this month because Alumni Dinner is right around the corner on Nov. 4th!! You won’t want to miss out this year… 😎 If you haven’t registered yet, what are you waiting for?! Link in bio 😉

4th Thursdays will return February 2024 🌊
