August pole flow-hop was an experimental venture into the less-known: nothing crazy from the tricks standpoint, just a bit of an attitude (big surprise 😆) Appreciate those who went down that rabbit hole of moonwalks with me. 💜

✨ Strong foundations create strong aerialists! ✨

Level 1 is about so much more than learning a few moves on the hoop. It’s where we begin building strength, developing body awareness, and familiarizing ourselves with the foundational mounts, shapes, and transitions that eventually become the building blocks for beautiful aerial hoop flows. 💫

One thing I often hear my students say is, “But I’m not strong!”

And my favourite reminder is: This is how we GET strong! 💪🏼

Strength isn’t a prerequisite for starting aerials. It’s something we develop through practice, patience, consistency, and a willingness to keep showing up.

Every mount, every repetition, and every little victory matters. What feels challenging today may eventually become something you move through with ease.

We all start somewhere. Trust the process and give yourself permission to be a beginner. 🖤
