Phase 2! Working our way out of this properties back yard, finished the back yard up in the previous post and started working on the side to give the backyard a clean and functional entrance way. Still fighting the grade of the property so continued to use 6x6’s for retaining walls. Used some Blu 60mm Shale Grey Smooth pavers to match the back patio. Added a flat area with pavers for the garbage cans and finished the sides off with Delaware stone. Also tied some more down spouts into our drainage lines we ran.

First phase of this project, sunken patio! Fighting the grade in this backyard so we built a retaining wall to hold back some soil and provided a flat patio area! Tied some gutter down spouts into drainage to help deal with some water. Built a small set of steps to leave the most patio space as possible. Used some 6x6 wood railroad ties to create a raised garden bed along the fence while also dealing with more of the grading issue. Finished it off by taking out some dirt and slightly sloping the grade of the yard and added some amazing sod from @tuckahoeturf . And as usual used our guys @rt34rt9yards for some Blu 60 shale grey pavers, and 6” mini Crita wall block for the steps and patio retaining wall.

Fresh off the press in Brielle! 🏡✨

We recently wrapped up a complete landscape transformation for a newly constructed home, turning a blank slate into a vibrant, finished property built to stand the test of time.

The project scope was focused on clean lines, curb appeal, and long-term sustainability:

* Instant Lawn Transformation: Complete prep and sod installation across both the front and back yards for an immediate, lush green finish.

* Low-Maintenance Plantings: Carefully selected trees and shrubs designed to thrive locally with minimal ongoing upkeep.

* Bed Preparation & Finishes: Laid rich, natural mulch throughout all planting beds to retain soil moisture and prevent weed growth.

A project like this comes together through great teamwork and trusted partnerships. A huge thank you to our collaborators at Brick and Bloom for working alongside us on the sod installation, and to our reliable suppliers—Reid’s Sod Farm, Rt. 34 Landscape Supply, and JMJ Farms—for delivering top-tier materials.

Special shoutout to Denny Testa for capturing the whole process on video! 🎥👇

Back yard wrapped up! Did some regrading, topsoil, sod in the beginning of the summer and came back for a patio! Used Blu 60 pavers in Champlain Grey from @rt34rt9yards @techobloc and a darker 8x4 border brick. White marble chip stone on the side with some Techo Block Grande stepping stones also in Champlain Grey along the side.

From concept to completion! 🏡✨

Our client requested a full backyard renovation, and we collaborated to design an inviting, functional space for family and friends that is easy to maintain.

Swipe through to see the transformation:

1️⃣ Concept & Design: Developed a symmetrical design featuring perimeter trees and shrubs, leaving designated space for custom seating.

2️⃣ Prep Work: Weeded and cleared the entire site to establish a clean slate.

3️⃣ Planting & Mulching: Installed vibrant trees, shrubs, and rich dark mulch.

4️⃣ Hardscaping: Added a clean Delaware river rock border alongside the deck.

5️⃣ Soil Prep: Hauled in multiple yards of topsoil to form a healthy base for root growth.

6️⃣ Final Result: Installed fresh, lush sod to bring the entire yard to life!

Shoutout to our local partners for making this build possible: RT 34 Landscape Supply – Stone, mulch, and topsoil 🌱 Reid's Sod Farm – High-quality sod 🌳 JMJ Farms & L.B. Forcellati & Son – Premium selection of trees, shrubs, and perennials
