COVER UP .
A great cover-up starts with trust. If I take on your project, I’ll give it my best—but I need you to come with an open mind and trust the choices I make to transform your tattoo.

Now tell me: can you spot the old tattoo in this piece?

Halloween offerings! All available to be tattooed and all repeatable, also some portraits that I would really like to do, discounted full day rates for those. My iPad has been a little on the fritz battery -wise so I have really been enjoying drawing and rendering on paper.

This piece brings together everything I’ve built as an artist. It started with graffiti, before I ever picked up a tattoo machine. Then came realism and neo traditional, which gave me another way to express myself through lines. In this piece, I got to bring all of those experiences together.

I’m proud of the result. We won Best of Show at the Boston Tattoo Convention. 🏆

You don’t always know why you lost. But when you win, you know exactly what you put into the work to get there.

🏆 BEST OF SHOW — BOSTON

When you trust the artist, the result speaks for itself. 🏆

Creative freedom. Trust in the process. Obsession with every detail.

Yesterday in Boston, this piece won BEST OF SHOW.

It’s not just about winning a trophy.
It’s about creating something that makes my client look at their skin and think: it was worth every minute.

I take every project seriously — from the concept to the final detail.

You bring the story. I turn it into art.

special thank you to @sara_johnson1007 who pushed through three intense days of tattooing and pain, staying focused and trusting the process all the way to the end.

Bosco was so much more than my tattoo artist. Before him, I tried numerous artists, but when I met Bosco, I knew I had found my forever artist. We became friends almost immediately, and I feel incredibly lucky that I got to be one of his main clients.

After countless sessions filled with “noms,” movies, music, and conversations that made me laugh so hard he would have to stop tattooing, he became one of the people who knew me best. I don’t even know how many hours I spent in his chair, or how much money I Venmo’d him over the last five years. He made 6 hours of shoving needles in and out of me so worth the 1-2 hour drive. Those appointments became hangouts i never wanted to end. (Besides my elbow tattoo, i really needed that to end.)

He brought 38 of my ideas to life. Sometimes I attempted to draw them, sometimes he did, and sometimes neither of us knew what I was describing, but he always figured it out. He never made me feel like an idea was too weird or too much. He also had a way of making every tattoo experience unforgettable. He put on The Wizard of Oz while tattooing my Wizard of Oz piece, played music by Queen when I got my “Radio Ga Ga” tattoo, and even wore a Super Mario shirt when I got my Yoshi tattoo.

He cared about the stories behind them, too. From learning what a Webkinz was to hearing the meaning behind the tattoos I got for my dad, he listened.

Bosco was honest, complicated, wildly talented, and completely one of a kind.

Though he was terrified of flying, he booked a trip to London with me and said I was the reason he finally got a passport. We never made that trip, but I’ll always be honored that his first adventure was supposed to be with me.

Before he moved to Colorado, he wanted to go to Kowloon for the first time. I’m so happy we made it happen.

I feel so lucky to have your art on me forever.
Love you, Bosco.
RIP my friend.
