Míle buíochas to RTÉ Arena for having us last night. I really appreciated the deep and thoughtful questions from Rick, and loved speaking all about our new music and it’s roots….

The last time I was in RTÉ, it was for a one-woman peaceful protest. I lay press vests on the ground for all of the journalists killed in Gaza… (the guards were called….. )
My protest was an appeal to RTÉ presenters, journalists and researchers to report the accurate truth about the atrocities unfolding in Gaza & Palestine, and to do so in an impartial and objective way - with humanity leading as our moral compass.

It was an honour to sing three Palestinian poet’s words on the airwaves last night in ‘They Tried to Bury Us’ and to be given the time to speak about the song. I am very grateful. The tide is turning and we are all seeing ~ Ní Neart go cur le Chéile a Chairde🌱

The @hilmaafklintofficial exhibition at the @nationalgalleryofireland is genuinely wonderful and certainly on a par (and overlapping) with her work I saw at @tate Modern a few years ago. Her story, and how her work was almost unknown for decades, is equally fascinating.

I'll be talking about it with @jessfahyarthistory tonight on the programme after 7 on @rteradio1 and @rtelisten.

I rarely come on here the morning after to insist you listen back to something from the night before, but the legendary @ralphmctellofficial was just so fascinating, warm, and amazing to hear play live for us.

Find his chat and session on last night's programme on @rtelisten.

So lovely to see the item I did about Lawrence on @rte_arena at the end of September feature in the Culture section of RTÉ.ie this morning. This was genuinely one of my favourite things to research and chat about for work and it’s been lovely to hear/see it get such a warm response.

Check it out online, listen back & then spend the day listening to Felt, Denim & Mozart Estate!

Even for a three day week so far we've managed to get in five days of fascinating conversations and performances.

We were in Cork to talk about Disco Pigs at 30, great lost Cork music venues and hear live jazz in studio, I talked to the star of the biggest scripted show on American TV, we had Limerick hip hop, a look back at Marathon Man, and remembered the great Denis O'Driscoll.

Find all of them on @rtelisten.

Back tonight at 7 on @rteradio1 with TV and album reviews including the new @fontainesband...

Shows in RTE Cork are always brilliant - thanks to @maya.libbey, @gerronofficial, and @gava_lava for the music, Ashley Keating from the @frankandwalters for the memories of all the great Cork music venues, and Enda Walsh, Aoise Meaney amd @seamusr0ss for the insight into Disco Pigs at 30 at @theeverymancork.

If you missed yesterday's show, everything is on @rtelisten.

As for the final pic, that brought back memories @jonathan_mccrea and @imsineadkennedy...
