Starting August 27, this season has been filled with arangetrams every weekend and in between those there was Sangamam, Navarathri dance performances, starting UCI, Golu, Garba, PS-1, and most importantly @adrsh.prthpp 18th bday 😜
And to top it all off, Sampavana yesterday. This season felt more special than any before because of the new friendships made and how I got to enjoy it with my closest of friends and family. I wish you were here to see me perform thatha, but i hope you are watching me from above and are proud of me🤍

I cannot wait for next year to do this all over again with you lovely people ❤️❤️

With zero prior experience, plantar fasciitis, and tomboy tendencies, I wouldn’t say walking in a fashion show is something that I’d ever thought I’d do. I did it to show myself I could do it and to challenge my self-expression. I grew up really shy and silenced so being able to take up space on the runway was such a thrilling and proud experience. I did so to represent the faces that look like mine in the name of diversity and representation. Diversity should be celebrated as a basic human right. I believe if diversity is something you’re proud of, it’s one more step in finding unity as fellow human beings. Without diversity, we wouldn’t have a variety in culture, tradition, or food. Life would be boring!

I have hope that we can appreciate one another for our diversity and get curious about our neighbors’ culture. Often times I find relatability in learning about others’ cultures and I urge you to do the same!

Shoutout to all the amazing women I met during this process who showered me with support and kindness! @diversityfashionworld is really redefining the space for fashion and I can’t wait to see what they do next!

Here I modeled two Indian sarees, one contemporary and one princess modern. Thank you for letting me be an Indian princess for a day ❤️ and thank you guys for showing up for me and letting me learn how to show up for myself too 🥹

Hello! I am Varshitha and I will be a junior this year. This is my 3rd year in choir and I can’t wait to be your choir publicist and alto 1 section leader. My favorite thing about choir is how close everybody is. We all have so much fun during class and I constantly look forward to dress rehearsals. I am extremely excited to work with you all!
