What made him a strong player
Reliable on the ball. He completed 86.6% of a high volume of passes, about 53 per 90 minutes, and much of his passing came from the back line under pressure. Match highs include 90% in a 102-pass game against Houston Dynamo II (19 April) and 95% against Ventura County (13 April).
Ball winner. He averaged nearly five interceptions and more than eight recoveries per 90 minutes. His best defensive games were 16 interceptions against Minnesota United II (17 September) and 17 against Quakes II (8 June).
Versatile. He played left back, left center back, left wing back and center back, often more than one in the same match, and stayed consistent across all of them.
Durable and disciplined. He played nearly 2,300 minutes with only four yellow cards.
A threat in attack. He scored in the 5–0 win at Sporting KC II (9 March) and set up a goal in the 2–0 win over Colorado Rapids II (21 May). His 20 shots and 2.44 xG show he was regularly in good attacking spots for a defender.
Big-game performances. His best all-round game was the 3–0 win over Tacoma Defiance (31 August), with 97 minutes, 88% passing (69 of 78) and a clean sheet. He also played in the win over Ventura County the day before this report, which you mentioned was the Real Monarchs game.
