I’ll never forget all of the lessons, challenges, and friendships that softball has given me. Softball has made me the person I am today. I want to thank every coach for pushing me and believing in me. I want to thank every teammate for the laughs and amazing team bonding experiences. I have made some incredible friendships that I know will last a lifetime.

Most importantly I want to thank my parents for supporting me through the ups and downs of every single season. I want to thank my dad for always pushing me to be better and for pretty much coaching every team i’ve ever been on. I will miss going to cages and fields to get more reps and simply just playing catch with him.

I can’t imagine what my life would be like without the experiences that softball has given me and I will forever cherish every moment.

dear fze softball,

i’ll never be able to put into words how much these last 4 years have meant to me. every game, every practice, every laugh, and every cry have made me into the player i am today. these were truly the best 4 years of my life. fze softball truly helped me find myself, not only as a player but as a person, too. i’ll forever be grateful for every practice, every bus ride, and every moment shared with my best friends.

if i could go back to my freshman year, knowing how quickly these four years would fly by, i would hug a little tighter, stay on the field a little longer, and never take a single moment for granted. it’s heartbreaking knowing i’ll never again put on this uniform, hear my name announced, or step onto that field knowing i have another game ahead of me, but im so thankful i have the opportunity to continue my career in college.

as i close this chapter, i’ll always remember the timid player i was freshman year and how these years have transformed me into the confident, disciplined, loud player i am today. i’ll always be thankful to have stepped onto that field with the girls i love most. fze softball will always hold a special place in my heart. it’s more than a team; it’s a family.
