Silly Questions Segment x Gympie Music Muster 🎻

I brought my favourite FTR radio segment backstage at the Gympie Muster. I can tell you we had a lot of fun, and a lot of laughs with the Song Muster crew.

So much fun hanging out with this inspiring crew at ‘The Campfire’ songwriting sessions, and experiencing my first ever Gympie Music Muster 🤠✨

Thanks so much to @theacademycmaa x @gympiemusicmuster for having me as part of the inaugural ‘Campfire’ songwriting retreat ❤️ And to NT Regional Arts Fund for the support to get me there and take up this opportunity.

Loved meeting a bunch of new Academy buddies and reuniting with some 🫶

The Muster itself was an incredible 4 days of music, bingo, campfires, alpacas, set in the magic of the Amamoor forest 🌳🦔

I’m home now and definitely feeling inspired to write x ✍️ 🎶

What a wild day at Gympie Muisc Muster! 🎪✨
We were already buzzing to play @megancoopermusic ’s @cakeandcordialau sessions — huge love to everyone who came out, sang along, and brought the best energy. You made our set unforgettable!
Then things got surreal... While wandering the festival grounds afterward, we were asked to go on standby for the Main Stage in case an artist couldn’t make it! 🤯 Our hearts skipped a beat. We were keen and ready! Even just being in the running was an absolute thrill.
It wasn’t meant to be this time, but maybe next year, Gympie? 😉 Thank you for having us—we had an absolute blast! 🤠🎸

Ruby Jane’s custom Six String Hide strap 🤍

This one was extra special to make because every little detail has a story behind it.

The horseshoe was chosen to represent Ruby Jane’s song Lucky — a perfect little symbol for the strap.

The sheriff’s badge has an extra special meaning too. Not everyone knows that Ruby’s full name is actually Ruby Sheriff, so we had to include a little nod to her name and her song “The Sheriffs Leaving Town” 🤠

And tucked inside the badge is a little “Yeehaw!” — inspired by the tattoo Ruby received while filming the music video for Hoot N Holler 🌵

To finish it off, we added a small pop of turquoise, inspired by a classic turquoise stone and bringing that perfect country touch to the design 💎

I absolutely loved bringing all these little pieces of Ruby’s story together to create something that is not only a guitar strap, but something uniquely hers.

It was an absolute honour making this one for you, Ruby Jane 🩵

Does anyone else agree we need more support for Aussie artists?
