summer 2026 was a blessing i did not deserve🩵

there is no greater sight than a room full of boys and girls singing, dancing, and worshipping the Lord without inhibitions. there is no greater sound than the echos of gospel conversations each night on the porch as the cicadas sing. there is no greater feeling than the embrace from a child who finally feels seen, known, and loved. and there is no greater joy than to build the Kingdom with a group of people who love radically and serve diligently.

thank you Jesus for hand-placing me back at 1242 Old Blue Creek Road. may i never cease to praise you for the miraculous things you accomplished in and around me:)

What an unforgettable summer it was here at Woodlands Camp 2026. I thank the Lord for leading me to this place for a second summer to spread His word, build community, grow, and capture the unforgettable here. I met some amazing and beautiful people who I miss dearly and I learned even more. It’s amazing how God places you somewhere when you need it the most. Thank you God for another place I can always call home ❤️ CAN I PET DAT DAWG?!

These past three weeks have been such an encouragement and have challenged me to live out my faith the way it truly should be: to love, honor, and serve others just as Jesus has loved, honored, and served us. Philippians 2 was a major focus throughout the summer, and it became such an eye opening chapter for me.
Not only did I build incredible relationships with the people I had the privilege of serving alongside, but I also grew so much in my relationship with the Lord. There were definitely challenges along the way, but the community around me made me feel truly seen, heard, and supported every step of the way.
I’m so grateful that the Lord closes certain doors to open others that are even better than I could have imagined. SALT 3 meant the world to me, and I’ll always be thankful for everything the Lord taught me through it. 🤍🧂💌

SALT 3 what a blessing it was thank you for teaching me how to love, honor, and serve. what a time it was to take a deep dive into Philippians 2. I wanna thank you to Darrell and Ruby the Holy Spirit truly spoke through yall Even the counselors I got to speak to. I grew in so many ways that I didn’t know I could. Thank you to my brothers and sisters that were able to hold me accountable during and after these 3 weeks it was truly a blessing.

when i came to woodlands last year for the first time and you told me i would be a salt camper i would say, “what’s a salt camper?” through the Lords abounding love i am able to scream at the top of my lungs i was a salt 2 camper!!!!!!!!!

through that alone the Lord has shown me his great intentionality, but even more his intentionality has shown up in each person i got to love and be loved by this week. the community and presence here is absolutely indescribable, i am not one bit worthy of being poured into by all the wise counsel at woodlands!

Our loving Elohim has showed me the power of including him in every moment of my life wether it’s serving campers on the line, cleaning the bathrooms, serving in the coffee shop, washing dishes, making sweet tea, session with ruby & darell, chapel, trouble shooters, prayer, or late night games he is evident in literally every single thing. Cannot wait to make the change back home knowing he needs to be in everything!!!

I will remember this experience for the rest of my days dare I say…unforgettable.
