Hello. We’ve got some news. Most urgently: we are hosting a very special acoustic evening tonight at Banks Street Bar, joined by friends @feeferella and @_johnrenshaw.

On Tuesday, we are playing a rock ‘n’ roll monster show at Saturn Bar with @day.josiah and @aubreyjanemac.

But don’t sleep on this next part. Are you ready? OK. We are recording our third full-length record this winter. Been working on it for a long time on our own, and we’re hitting the studio to take it to the next level. On Saturday, October 10, we are launching a Kickstarter pre-sale to fund those upcoming sessions.

You already know we’re gonna be hounding y’all for the next two months about this. But if you want to support the campaign as soon as it goes live, feel free to head to our bio link now, where we encourage you to sign up for a day-of reminder.

We’re not saying this because we don’t think you’ll end up supporting us in some way—even if that just means telling your mom about it. It’s because pre-sales on day 1 make a big impact for the campaign. They give it momentum and might help us reach people who otherwise wouldn’t know we exist.

So basically…

🖤

There is no beauty, without some strangeness.

Gurleen, Ruby, and Nicole — what an honor to create with all of you. Your talent is limitless.

P.S. While producing this shoot and striking out on locations, New Orleans came through, as it usually does, with so many generous people offering their gyms, office lobbies, and gallery spaces to help us make this collaboration happen. So grateful to you all!
