More of Ruby at the love motel

I’m doing exactly what little me dreamed of.

I started making videos on my Dad’s camcorders and now I am making my own music come to real life in such larger ways.

This video is my visual statement on the wear-and-tear Gen Z dating takes on girls. So many of my friends have been tossed around by people who can’t decide what they want — or don’t even know. I wanted to capture that feeling of commiseration, for my friends and for anyone who’s felt that same chaos. The setting is a kind of purgatory between casual and committed, because that’s where so many girls keep getting stuck.

It was so magical to get to film this with @itsmadebyras in NYC with some of my closest friends. We made a little studio work thanks to the incredible performers - Amiah, Maya, Leya, Maddie, and Cia.

This would not have been possible without the styling of @rubysorb and the movement direction of @liizwestbrook helping everyone look and feel beautiful.

I LOVE MAKING ART.

Thank you for listening and supporting me. And if you haven’t gotten a chance to watch, I hope this gives you a new reason to…:,
