Four weeks before setting off, I decided to leave Singapore a few days early to pop by Paris and Lisbon to spend time with my sisters from other misters. Worth every bit of last minute scrambling 🤪💖

One of my first clients became my best friend. She healed my friendship trauma, and was one of the first Pinays I saw on stage speaking boldly about love and injustice and inspiring others to take action. Twentyish years later, we are still supporting each other in our personal and professional lives.🥹

such gratitude for being this young queen’s mama.
she chose to pursue her masters in Germany— help small farmers & protest against big pharma— in a country where she knows not a single soul, not a lick of German, and not one doubt in her mind she couldn’t do it.

she set the tone & the bar so high that her siblings get to dream in a similar way or MUCH higher! She did it scared. she did it without a roadmap. & did it without looking back. and I got to witness her through all her excellence.

artists, activists, educators and healers carry so much for the good of others. they deserve the space to rest, to dream, to reflect on the sounds of bells or seagulls, delight in art and music, eat gelato every day if they want. they deserve the space to feel restored. #EsperimentoSulRespiro will host 11 who have committed to their rest over this season, starting this August, with fellows going to Como and Lucca or both sites for up to 14 days.
