We had a great lil guy join us at the rally. He cruised around the parking lot in his electric Taycan, stopping for pets and attention the whole way around.

He’s become the stuff of @ruchlosrallye legend now, as he crossed the rainbow bridge a few days after our weekend.

What an amazing sendoff he had, amongst so many friends and cars. @here.sometimes.co gave Dexter the most rich and fulfilling life a dog could ask for. Start to finish, Dexter was the best boy. We’ll miss him.

West Virginia is a little bit The Flower Called Nowhere, it’s one of the most beautiful places you’ll ever see yet has its share of troubles despite all the beauty. The roads are not one of these troubles, with the state taking the infrastructure of their roads so seriously that it’s one of the best places you’ll ever drive in the US if you like twists and turns deep in the woods and by the rivers. “Almost Heaven” the locals call it and I’d say that’s fair. Couldn’t ask for a better location for an event like @ruchlosrallye and couldn’t ask for a better group of people who organize it and attend, all of whom know how special it is and maintain the good vibes. I’ve been increasingly trying to make my own adventure on these rallies, we were fortunate that it had rained heavily a few days prior but skies were blue and temps were perfectly positioned in the 60s during our stay. In light of this, I made an effort to cut the driving shorter than most so I could go see the waterfalls in their full force post rain, and their renowned black waters didn’t disappoint! Grateful to have been invited and will continue to explore off the routes every time I go back.
