I don't seem to find the energy to keep creating nowadays. But I makes me happy to create. This is what I call digital vomit that works. I did it all on inkscape.

Britches had to take a visit to the emergency vet on Saturday 10/12 after we noticed she was drooling a lot, not closing her mouth, and not eating or drinking. They found a mass in her mouth that was swollen and bleeding, so we had some labs done. Her heart, kidneys, liver, and spleen are enlarged, but no additional masses were found. We have an appointment with the regular vet on Monday. The ER Vet was very concerned about the possibility of her throwing a blood clot from the mass, plus the condition of her heart and other organs. She said it's a waiting game, could be days, could be weeks left together--just hug and love on her while we can. We'll see what our family vet has to say. 😥

Britches is doing okay today after her appointment, just enjoying naps in the closet plus all the extra wet treats she's been getting. 😉 And can't forget a roll around in catnip! She is 13 years young, has lived in 4 houses, and I'm planning to take her over to visit the new house this week during my break. 💜 Maybe we'll go after our vet visit tomorrow, who knows?

Although, I'm currently living in the great state of Arkansas. I lived many years in TX. I also attended the Art Institute of Dallas once and then I ended, but #squareskull was born.

My favorite time of year! Reuniting with my TAEA art people! I am so happy to be back in person and see old friends, and meeting new ones! This weekend was filled with exciting activities and ideas to bring back to the classroom.

This week I was reminded of how special my role is as an art educator and why I need to keep doing what I’m doing. ❤️🎨🤗
