Today was special. ❤️ My dad was honored for the legacy he has built here in El Paso. 50 years ago, he immigrated from South Korea and dedicated his life to teaching martial arts. 🥋 So proud to be your daughter. I wouldn’t be who I am without you. Love you, Daddy. ❤️🇰🇷🇺🇸 #masterhan #hanfamily #legacy #elpaso #immigrant

Dear students, former students, friends, and members of the Han’s Oriental Martial Arts family,

As many of you know, this year marks a very special milestone for Grandmaster Bae Hyun Han — 50 years of teaching martial arts in the United States.

In honor of his incredible legacy, we are putting together a special keepsake book to present to him on September 19th during our belt promotion and testing.

We would love for anyone whose life has been touched by Grandmaster Han to contribute something to the book. It can be a favorite memory, a few words about what he has meant to you, a personal message, your signature, or a photograph from your time with him or at Han’s Oriental Martial Arts.

Whether you trained with him recently or many years ago, your contribution would mean so much. This book is meant to show him, in a very personal way, the generations of students, families, and friends whose lives he has influenced over the past 50 years.

No message is too short and no memory is too small.

To contribute, please contact Jennifer by text at 915-274-9026 by September 12, 2026.

Thank you for helping us create something he can treasure forever.
