Top recommendations for 2024:
make memories with the loves of your life
make time for your family
treasure being in a dream job
add a disco ball or rainbow prisms to every room in the house
dress yourself to express yourself
ramble and dream out loud to your best friends
tell your people how much they mean to you every chance you get
have the courage to grieve deeply
do something that scares the crap out of you like going on stage in front of LOTS of people to hump Hannah Conda (just an example)
SLEEP as much as you possibly can

2024 was brutal and gorgeous. Here’s to 2025 and embracing everything from quiet moments of rest to wild leaps of courage. 🫶🏼🪩🙏🏼

*tiny note: I had 20 memories, but Instagram is apparently gatekeeping that feature for people fancier than me. Not cool! Just know I love you and I’m sorry if our special memory isn’t in these 10 photos. You know I love you. Yah, you! 🥰

So a year ago two members of the Coastal Prairie Band moved to Oregon, and a month ago a third. We haven’t been able to play as a group since the start of the pandemic, but recently Darren and Karen have been invited to play once a month at Kickstand in Hood River. Billy joined us last week! We will keep you posted here! For now we are still the CPB, but we no longer have the prairie in our neighborhood. But this isn’t bad, right?! Time for music on the porch! Or your wedding…or garden party…❤️#coastalprairieband #columbiarivergorgeband #kickstandcoffeeandkitchen #hoodriverweddings #columbiagorgeweddings #hoodriverevents #mthoodmusic #hoodrivermusic

WEEK 7 // Off to Portland, OR to see my dad and Leslie’s new city! Full of flowers (OMG the flowers), natural beauty everywhere from waterfalls to tree-lined streets, Portland was divine. We got to visit Dan’s cousins and get a VIP tour of @vigilglass’s studio, including a gorgeous handmade pendant from @meeshmellowglass and giggly wrestle times with tiny cousins! Lunch with old friends from CA/Sydney now Portland friends, lots of pup cuddles with Sonny and Willow and of course, some brilliant guitar playing from my dad that always makes me teary. 🥹 Portland felt like home, even though it was my first time there 🥰

Happy Father’s Day @rudock1 ♥️ I still remember waking up every day to you playing the guitar and pretending to be asleep so I could just take it all in. Your music is the soundtrack to my heart. Love you Dad! I’m sorry I can’t be there in person to celebrate with you, but here’s a fun compilation of memories. Happy Father’s Day!

#TBT of a tiny bubble covered happy baby Jess because tiny moments can be the sweetest moments if you slow down enough to realise it’s all so special. Thanks @debbi.leigh23 and @rudock1 for snapping this pic, oh and raising me! Hehehe 😘😘😘

And just like that the SoCal portion of our California adventure comes to an end and we’re back in Sydney. The world feels smaller and my heart feels bigger knowing all my people are lighting up the world and living it up on the other side of the Pacific. 🤟🏼🌎 #notthatfar #family #californialove

Happy Father's Day to all the Papa Bears out there! Life has definitely shifted into a new stage, scrolling through Instagram and Facebook and A LOT of my friends are dads now! Whoa! I know it's a big responsibility and an important job because I am blessed with a caring, calm, and creative Dad who gave me the world. He has provided the soundtrack to my life and taught me so much. Love you, Dad! #happyfathersday #daddysgirl #throwback

What a fabulous weekend of good byes! It's been so hard/special to be sent off on our adventure with so much love. Seriously, as weird as it sounds, saying good bye has been really fun! T-72 hours before the next chapter in 🇦🇺!! #sflove #californialove #farewelltour #family #tribe #allofthefeels
